What we repair
We handle burn holes from cigarettes, irons, and fireplace embers; pet damage including chew holes, dig marks, and stained pulls; seam separations in hallways and doorways; transition strip failures between rooms; bleach spots; and torn or frayed edges along walls and stairs. If you have a leftover scrap from the original installation, we use it. If not, we cut a donor patch from an inconspicuous area — inside a closet, under a long-term piece of furniture — and the visible patch becomes invisible.
How invisible patching actually works
The trick to a patch you can't see isn't fancy equipment — it's matching the pile direction, the cut, and the seam. We cut a precise square from the damaged area, prepare a matching donor piece with the pile running the same way, install seam tape with a hot iron underneath, and groom the surrounding fibers so the patch blends in. On most carpets you cannot find the repair afterward, even on hands and knees. That is the difference between a professional carpet repair and a DIY YouTube fix.
Pet damage is our specialty
Northwest Indiana is a dog and cat town and we do a lot of pet repair. Chew damage at thresholds, scratch damage by exterior doors, urine-soaked corners — we cut out the bad section, patch with a clean donor, and pair the repair with our odor treatment so the smell does not come back through the new piece.
